Sorry I didn't get a chance to email yesterday they closed the email before I finished. Ha that means it took me forever! Day 2 was so hard! It took me about 9 hours and 30 minutes and the cut off was 10 hours. I had to see the first aid station about half way through and tape my foot, I have a "stress fracture" in my left foot. But today was much better. Even with the pain I had the best time. Ha who knew pain killers actually work! Ha I should take them more often.
This is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, but I am going to make it. Don't worry about me. I got your email, thank you so much. I love you so much.
Tomorrow is the long stage, so wish me luck. We have 54 miles.

Ah! I started crying in the middle of the store reading this. Preston taking meds means he is in major pain. I have never seen him take a pill for anything for all the time I have known him.

Oh gosh- this is stressing me out and I'm not even his wife! Stay strong missy! And make sure to let him know he's never allowed to do this again!!! :)
Hang in there sweetie! We're all praying for him (and you!!) Can't wait to hear all of his stories upon his SAFE return! :-)
